After you register
After you mail in your registration form, you may receive a confirmation notice in the mail before the election. If you register near the deadline, your county may not have time to send you a notice. If it gets close to the election and you have not received a notice, you can call your county elections office to check on your registration. All voters get information in the mail from the: Sample Ballot Voter Information Guide

| What does “nonpartisan” mean?
The Sample Ballot and the Voter Information Guide are nonpartisan, which means they do not tell you who or what to vote for. They just give facts and not opinions.
There are three additional nonpartisan sources for election information: the Easy Voter Guide, this website, www.easyvoter.org, and the Smart Voter website, www.smartvoter.org.
During an election cycle, you may also get mail from different political campaigns that will have a clear point of view. These are partisan in that they take a position or support a candidate and urge you to do the same.
